The first tests indicate that the Darkglass MIDI Footswitch works flawlessly with the Neural DSP Quad Cortex and looks good too (which is predictable in the case of these two brands).
Now, we can use all eight QC footswitches for stomp on/off switching, four of the MIDI footswitch buttons for scenes, and the fifth for the looper. This was the original plan, and it works like a charm.
In stereo
Additionally, a truly impressive ‘amp-in-the-room’ feel is achieved with two Orange Pedal Babys in stereo, running into two Orange guitar cabs with no cab sims enabled on the QC.
Stereo doesn’t always have to mean traditional left and right speakers placed horizontally! “Vertical stereo”, with one speaker positioned directly above the other, offers a unique and exceptional audio experience. This setup amplifies the impact of true stereo modulation effects, delays, and reverbs, creating a deeply immersive soundscape.
